Trypansoma vivax PCR Detection Kit
Trypanosoma vivax is a major parasite of domestic animals in Africa and Americas. In Africa, the transmission occurs cyclically and mechanically but, in the America T. vivax is transmitted only mechanically by tabanids and other biting flies. The main clinical signs observed in cattle naturally infected with T.vivax have been intermittent fever, anemia, abortion, apathy, inappetence, diminished milk production, progressive weight loss and, occasionally, death.
VetPCR? T.vivax Detection Kit is the direct detection of Trypansoma vivax on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate, reliable technique.
