Bovine herpesvirus 5 PCR Detection Kit

Bovine herpesvirus 5 (BHV-5) is is the causative agent of a fatal meningo encephalitis in calves and is closely antigenically and genetically related to bovine herpesvirus 1. BoHV5 infection induces different degrees of severity of neurological disease depending on both viral and host factors.

VetPCR? BHV-5 Detection Kit is the direct detection of bovine herpesvirus 5 on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate, reliable technique.
