Trypanosoma congolense PCR Detection Kit

Trypanosoma congolense is a protozoan pathogen of cattle and other livestock and is one of the main constraints on cattle production in Africa. Its life cycle is complex and divided into two phases, one in the tsetse fly vector and one in the bloodstream of the mammalian host. In the bloodstream form, anemia is a clinical feature in human and animal trypanosomiasis. Other symptoms include lymphoid enlargement, loss of condition and immunosuppression with reduced host resistance to secondary infections.

VetPCR? T.congolense Detection Kit is the direct detection of Trypanosoma congolense on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate, reliable technique.
