Yersinia ruckeri PCR Detection Kit

Yersinia ruckeri is a Gram-negative, rod shaped bacterial pathogen and the causative agent of Enteric Redmouth (ERM) disease, found in salmonids, mainly rainbow trout. It is also know as Yersiniosis. The bacteria infect most tissues of the body, mainly well-vascularized areas, and can cause hemorrhaging. ERM is spread from direct contact with contaminated fish or their feces.

VetPCR? Y.ruckeri Detection Kit is the direct detection of Yersinia ruckeri on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
