Renibacterium salmoninarum PCR Detection Kit

Bacterial kidney disease (BKD) is caused by Renibacterium salmoninarum, a coryne form, rod-shaped, Gram-positive. BKD occurs in North America, Japan, Western Europe and Chile. R. salmoninarum infections can buildup over a long period of time, with clinical disease only appearing in advanced infections, usually when the fish have completed their first year of life. Virulence of R. salmoninarum varies with the strain of bacterium the salmon species infected environmental and holding conditions.

VetPCR? R. salmoninarum Detection Kit is the direct detection of Renibacterium salmoninarum on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
