Leptospira spp. PCR Detection Kit

Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease, caused by various strains of the Leptospira species, a flexible, spiral-shaped, Gram-negative spirochete. Leptospira affects all domestic species including humans. Leptospirosis is spread through the urine of infected animals, which gets into water or soil and can survive there for weeks to months. In cattle it is usually associated with Milk Drop Syndrome, abortion, weak calves and infertility.

VetPCR? LEPTOSPIRA Detection Kit is the direct detection of Leptospira spp. on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate, reliable technique.
