Aeromonas hydrophila PCR Detection Kit

Aeromonas hydrophila is a ubiquitous Gram-negative, motile, rod-shaped bacterium which can be commonly isolated from fresh water ponds and is also a normal inhabitant of the gastrointestinal tract of fish. The disease primarily affects freshwater fish such as catfish and bass, and many species of tropical or ornamental fish. Fish infected with A. hydrophila may have many different clinical signs.Because of the variability of these clinical signs, the diagnosis of this disease based only upon the clinical presentation of the fish is highly unreliable.

VetPCR? A. hydrophila Detection Kit is the direct detection of Aeromonas hydrophila on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
