White spot syndrome virus PCR Detection Kit

White spot syndrome virus (WSSV), the sole member of the virus family Nimaviridae, is a large double-stranded DNA virus that infects shrimp and other crustaceans. WSSV as spread rapidly to shrimp-farming areas all over the world and become one of the major pathogens in cultured shrimp. It has a broad host range, infecting all cultured shrimp as well as other invertebrate aquatic organisms such as crab and crayfish.

VetPCR? WSSV Detection Kit is the direct detection of White spot syndrome virus on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast accurate and reliable technique.
