Porcine parvovirus PCR Detection Kit

Porcine parvovirus (PPV) is a member of the Parvoviridae family. Swine infected with the virus can experience reproductive problems, including abortion, small litters, still births, neonatal deaths and weak piglets. There is no clinically apparent disease in non-pregnant pigs. PPV is endemic in most countries with large pig populations. The virus can be transmitted via oronasal, transplacental and venereal routes, but oronasal is the most important route of infection.

VetPCR? PPV Detection Kit is the direct detection of Porcine parvovirus on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate, reliable technique.
