Lipovnik virus RT-PCR Detection Kit

The genus Orbivirus contains 22 virus species that are vectored by Culicoides midges, ticks, phlebotomine flies and anopheline or culicine mosquitoes. Several tick-borne orbiviruses can infect humans, and these include Kemerovo virus, Tribec virus, and Lipovnik virus (LIPV). The patogenicity of these viruses for humans is minimal. Dual infections are not uncommon with tick-transmitted encephalithis viruses and orbiviruses.

VetPCR? LIPV Detection Kit is the direct detection of Lipovnik virus on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast accurate and reliable technique.
