Lawsonia intracellularis PCR Detection Kit

Lawsonia intracellularis is the aetiological agent Porcine proliferative enteropathy. It is a Gram negative obligate intracellular bacterium and requires rat enterocyte cell lines for maintenance. The organism is impossible to keep out of farms probably because it also infects other species. Infected faeces are the major vehicle for spread around the farm.

VetPCR? LAW.INT Detection Kit is the direct detection of Lawsonia intracellularis on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
