Listeria monocytogenes PCR Detection Kit

Listeriosis usually results from infection by Listeria monocytogenes, a Gram positive bacterium. In piglets and weaners the bacterium may cause a septicaemia and high temperature in piglets, nervous signs possibly meningitis, weak piglets at birth, pneumonia, head on one side, middle ear infections.

VetPCR? L. monocytogenes Detection Kit is the direct detection of Listeria monocytogenes on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
