Campylobacter jejuni PCR Detection Kit

Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli are the most frequently isolated Campylobacter species in humans with gastroenteritis. C. jejuni can colonize the intestinal tract of most mammals and birds. Transmission from animals to humans is mainly through consumption and handling of animal food products but also direct contact with colonized animals may contribute to human campylobacteriosis. C. jejuni can result enteritis in dogs, cats, calves, sheep, ferrets, poultry and some species of laboratory animals. Infections with C jejuni can cause abortions in sheep and cattle.

VetPCR? C. jejuni Detection Kit is the direct detection of C. jejuni virus on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polyme?rase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast accurate and reliable technique.
