Clostridium difficile PCR Detection Kit

Clostridium difficile is a gram-positive, anaerobic, spore-forming bacillus. C. difficile is a normal inhabitant of the gastrointestinal tract of many species of mammals and has been isolated from bird feces. C. difficile enterotoxemia may be a common problem in captive ostrich chicks, and the utilization of early diagnosis may limit the potential for severe mortality. 

VetPCR? C. difficile Detection Kit is the direct detection of Clostridium difficile on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
