Brucella abortus PCR Detection Kit

Bovine Brucellosis, a disease caused by the Gram negative intracellular facultative bacteria Brucella abortus, is a widely distributed zoonosis throughout the world, affecting mainly cattle and causing sterility in males and abortion in pregnant females. The organism continues to be excreted in the milk; in the past humans were frequently infected through drinking unpasteurized milk. Breeding bulls which are infected can transmit the disease to cows at the time of service by infected semen.

VetPCR? B. abortus Detection Kit is the direct detection of Brucella abortus on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate, reliable technique.
