Streptococcus sp. is a genus of spherical Gram-positive bacteria. In addition to streptococcal pharyngitis (strep throat), certain Streptococcus species are responsible for many cases of pink eye, endocarditis, erysipelas, meningitis, bacterial pneumonia, and necrotizing fasciitis . However, many streptococcal species are nonpathogenic, and form part of the commensal human microbiota. HumPCR? STREPTOCOCCUS Detection Kit is the direct detection of Streptococcus sp. on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only speci?c gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
