Babesia bovis PCR Detection Kit
Bovine babesiosis is a major tick-borne disease of cattle caused by protozoan parasites (Babesia spp). Out of at least six Babesia species that have a considerable impact on livestock health and productivity, two species, Babesia bovis and Babesia bigemina have the greatest affect. B. bovis is more virulent than B. bigermina and the babesiosis caused by B. bovis is less sensitive to some babesiacidal compounds making it difficult to cure the infected animals. Animals that survive from B. bovis infection generally become carriers of the parasite and serve as reservoirs for transmission.
VetPCR?B.bovis Detection Kit is the direct detection of Babesia bovis on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate and reliable technique.
