Listeria Monocytogenes PCR Detection Kit

Listeriosis usually results from infection by Listeria monocytogenes, a Gram positive rod in the family Listeriaceae. This organism is a facultative intracellular pathogen and cause animal and human disease. In ruminants, listeriosis can cause encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), abortion or blood poisoning. Signs include depression, loss of appetite, fever, lack of coordination, salivation, facial paralysis, and circling.

VetPCR? L. monocytogenes Detection Kit is the direct detection of Listeria monocytogenes virus on the basis of a genetic database, so it can diagnose very fast and accurately. It can amplify only specific gene using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method, and take only 3 hours for detection. Therefore, it is a very fast, accurate, reliable technique.
